Buffalo’s Cafe Acquisition
In 2011, Buffalo’s Cafe, a wing-centric brand focused on fresh-never-frozen wings, was acquired.
Buffalo's Express Co-Branded with Fatburger
In 2013, Buffalo’s Express was created, a fast casual model of Buffalo’s Cafe, to co-brand with Fatburger. Since the co-branded pairing was launched, over 100 locations worldwide have opened.
Ponderosa & Bonanza Steakhouse Acquisition
Shortly after the launch of FAT Brands, the company went public which was then followed by the acquisition of the family-friendly chains, Ponderosa & Bonanza Steakhouses.
Hurricane Grill & Wings Acquisition
Building on its wing portfolio, the company acquired the popular FL-centric wing chain, Hurricane Grill & Wings.
Yalla Mediterranean Acquisition

Leading, high-growth sports bar chain, Twin Peaks, was acquired, forming a new category within FAT Brands, the polished casual dining sector.
Native Grill & Wings and Fazoli's Acquisitions
Closing 2021 with nearly $1 billion in acquisitions, the company further strengthened its foothold in the wing category with the acquisition of Native Grill & Wings in addition to entering the quick-service Italian category with Fazoli’s.
